The BBC Band
The BBC Band is dedicated to capturing the original sound of The Beatles/British Invasion and other music from the spectacular Sixties. Each band member has spent their lives as keen musical enthusiasts, meticulously studying these recordings allowing them to provide the most accurate musical presentation possible.
Together since 2002, The BBC Band is a powerhouse of talent that features John Connelly, Frank Grizanti, Bob Volkman, Gary Astridge, and Russ Thomas. They don’t mimic or act like any particular band, the focus is on the music and their audience. Each band member breaks down every musical nuance, to faithfully reproduce the original sound, and it’s all done live on stage! The BBC Band attacks each song with fire, enthusiasm and personality. While having much fun playing together, they create an infectious energy in the audience.

Few entertainers boasted of fans from multiple generations. Entertainment legend Lance Diamond did. He started entertaining audiences in the mid 70’s and his band was so hot, Rick James hired them away to be his backup band. Today’s generation knew him as a guest lead vocalist with the Goo Goo Dolls. From then until his death in 2014 all generations considered him the best dressed, and the hardest working showman in Western New York music.
Lance received numerous accolades throughout his decades of entertainment. His was inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame (his hometown) and has received awards for the 2009 Radio Personality of the Year, the Entertainer of the Year Award, and The Legends Award.
We miss our friend Lance Diamond, but know that his music and legend will live on.
